Secured against dishonorable conduct, “Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor”  locks the assessment window, and also uses AI to detect questionable movements/activities. 

iPad Instructions

1. Join/Accept course in Canvas
2. Ensure that Respondus LockDown Browser has been installed on iPad 
3. Open Respondus LockDown Browser and log in to Canvas with FAUNET ID

4. Navigate to Canvas Course-->Quizzes-->Assigned Quiz  

5. Click Take the Quiz

6. Follow instructions for Respondus LockDown Browser

Laptop Instructions

1. Join/Accept course in Canvas 
2. Download and Install Respondus LockDown Browser 

3. Locate and Open LockDown Browser icon 

4. Log in to Canvas with FAUNET ID (canvas.fau.edu)

5. Navigate to Canvas Course-->Quizzes-->Assigned Quiz

6. Click Take the Quiz

7. Follow instructions for Respondus LockDown Browser + Webcam
