Remote Desktop to Windows from MAC

Once connected to the VPN via Forticlient VPN, then you can follow the steps below to remote to your desktop computer.

(1) To remote into your work computer, please go to your App Store (on your Mac) and download Windows App.

(2) Once you confirm it's downloaded, you can open Windows App and select Add PC.

(3) Type the computer name in the first box labeled PC name. Click “Ask when required” and select the drop down “Add user Account” If you are unsure of your computer name and email johndoe@health.fau.edu we can provide it for you.

(4) Type fau\username (e.g. fau\johndoe) and your password. and the Select 'Add'.

(5)You should now new see your Desktop in the Windows App. Double click on the square box to connect remotely.

When all is completed the user should be able to access their desktop remotely from the MAC.
