PowerPoint presentations are used routinely in business and in academia. However, if you think about the various presentations that you have experienced as an audience member, you will most likely be aware of some the pitfalls associated with using PowerPoint slides in a lecture. This workshop will address these pitfalls and provide tips for creating effective presentations.
The PowerPoint Redesign Workshop objectives are as follows:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of given PowerPoint presentations
- Identify key components for an effective PowerPoint presentation
- Apply newly acquired skills to improve PowerPoint presentation designs
