How to Add a PowerPoint Presentation from OwlMed to OneNote:

Students have the OwlMed, PowerPoint, and OneNote apps available on their devices

OneNote is the preferred note taking app at FAU College of Medicine. 

1. Open OwlMed
2. Choose the Event /Course from which you want to obtain the PowerPoint File
3. In the materials section, select the PowerPoint file you want to take notes on
4. Allow the file to open, you will see a blue loading line, please wait
5. Once the file is accessible from OwlMed, select the Up Arrow
6. From the Open With slider, go to the 3 dots
7. Select open PowerPoint presentation in PowerPoint app.
8. In PowerPoint, Tap the file icon in the upper right that looks like a rectangle with 3 dots on it
9. Select "Print"
10. Select "Open in Another App"
11. Select "OneNote" (Make sure you have OneNote installed on your iPad and a notebook open)
12. Give the notes a title and designate where you would like it inserted
13. You'll see a PDF icon. Tap the icon and select "Printout"
